AAS Student Portal: Accommodated Test Centre (ATC)

Please read carefully before booking your quiz, test, or exam with the ATC.

  • In order to receive accommodations for both virtual and in-person tests and exams, students are required to book their tests via the AAS Student Portal.
  • You must send your accommodation plan before you are able to book your accommodated test.

Booking a quiz, test, or midterm?

  • You must book all accommodated quizzes, tests, & midterms 10 days before the test.
  • Book for the same date and time the class is writing, not the accommodated writing time.
  • If you have agreed upon a separate time with your instructor, you can book for the new time. The instructor will be notified and must confirm the new time.
  • You will receive a confirmation email, indicating the accommodated writing time (for example, extra time).
  • You will receive a reminder email 2 days before your test with your room location and writing time.
  • In-Person Tests: On the day of your test, be sure to arrive at the Test Centre 15 minutes prior to your start time and bring your valid One Card.
  • Online Tests: The Test Centre will automatically apply your accommodations or communicate them to your instructor to set up in an online environment.

Booking a final exam?

  • You must book all accommodated final exams by the Final Exam Booking Deadline: April 1, 2024.
  • Book for the same date and time the class is writing, not the accommodated writing time.
  • If you have agreed upon a separate time with your instructor, you can book for the new time. The instructor will be notified and must confirm the new time.
  • You will receive a confirmation email, indicating the accommodated writing time (for example, extra time).
  • You will receive a reminder email 2 days before your test with your room location and writing time.
  • In-Person Final Exams: On the day of your test, be sure to arrive at the Test Centre 30 minutes prior to your start time and bring your valid One Card.
  • Online Final Exams: The Test Centre will automatically apply your accommodations or communicate them to your instructor to set up in an online environment.
